HI THERE!
My name is Rosie Kreitman. Every pop culture fact I learn kicks another helpful, real-world fact out of my brain. In efforts to parlay that knowledge into something fruitful, in 2018 I began taking sketch writing classes, and then eventually spec script, pilot script and production classes, at Second City and iO in Chicago, and now at Rise Comedy and Chaos Bloom in Denver.

Whether or not you too enjoy the absurdity of celebrity podcasts, or have ever wanted a romcom soundtrack following you around, I'm glad you're here. Finding this creative realm has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I'm so happy to share it with you. (Tangentially, building this website has not been equally joyful, and I appreciate you looking past my lacking development skills, despite this website-creation-for-dummies app.)

During the day, I am an advertising project manager and producer, where I employ skills invaluable in any collaborative group setting.

I would love to chat further:

SWIFTIES
Sketch
Three Taylor Swift super fans, along with their friend who is a casual fan, rely on their deep TS knowledge to partake in a cross-country scavenger hunt. The stakes are high - by tapping into their obsession and proving their true fandom, they will gain access to the latest Taylor Swift secret listening party.

DIRECTING & PRODUCTION WORK
PAST MY BEDTIME
Writer, Assistant Director
I wrote for and assistant directed this show - the first half an improvised late night talk show, the second half a sketch show - and worked closely with our Stage Manager and Music Director to ensure all tech ran smoothly.
THE FERRET TRAP
Writer, Assistant Director
I worked with my Writing Program class to write, cast and produce a sketch show that sold out three of four Friday nights in the Donny's Skybox Theatre at The Second City. My classmates voted me Assistant Director and I spent the duration of the nine-week long rehearsal process taking notes, helping with rewrites, blocking the show and assisting the actors.
LAID
Writer, Director
As part of my Comedy Film Production class, we were challenged to write a script with 2-3 characters, cast the parts and then film the video in 90 minutes in a location within Second City. Other classmates served as the production team, facilitating camera, lighting and sound work. I then edited my project into the final product.
